Who is behind WeltScout

WeltScout is run by WeltScout d.o.o., based in Grosuplje, Slovenia (company registration number 9450670000, VAT ID SI25936344). The web app searches 50+ local and European portals in 14 countries, checks for new listings once or twice a day depending on the plan, and sends them to WhatsApp or email. Alerts arrive on the plan's schedule, not at the moment a listing is posted. We do not sell cars or price them.

Who writes the articles on the blog

Articles are edited by the WeltScout editorial team. Where an article names an author, that person wrote the text; articles without a named author are signed by the editorial team. WeltScout d.o.o. is responsible for the content. We prepare article drafts with the help of AI tools. Where an article states facts from outside sources, the sources are listed at the end with the publisher and the date we read them. The articles are not tax or legal advice.

How we write and check articles

We state facts in articles with a named source or with a dated check in the app. These rules apply.

  • Sources. We give facts from official and publisher sources with the source name and the date we read it. We do not publish rankings without a source.
  • Amounts. We state tax, fee and duty amounts only from an official source, with a link and a date. We leave out amounts we could not find at the official source.
  • Describing the app. When an article describes what WeltScout can do, we check it in the app and give the date of the check. An example is the check of 17 October 2026 with a new dealer account.
  • Our own data. When we publish the results of our own search, we give the date, the search settings and the limits. An example is one search on 11 portals.
  • Dates. Every article shows the date it was published and updated, with an Updates section below it that lists the changes.

Disclosure of interest

WeltScout sells an app for searching vehicles. Sections written for dealers may mention WeltScout, and the other sections summarise the sources named.

Corrections and contact

If you find a mistake or an outdated figure in an article, write to info@weltscout.com. We record the correction in the Updates section below the article. All articles are on the blog.
