In short
WeltScout lets a dealer save a used car search once and get new listings from 50+ portals on WhatsApp or by e-mail. This post summarises the app as we reviewed it on 17 October 2026 and replaces an older, undated post called "News on the WeltScout platform". As of October 2026.
Contents
Why this post has no release dates
The older post announced a redesigned interface and new filters but carried no date, so we cannot honestly say when any feature shipped.
Instead of a history, we describe what the app does on the day of the review. On 17 October 2026 we went through the app with a new dealer account, from sign-up to the first search. When something changes, we will correct this post and add a line to the updates.
Feature overview
The app lets a dealer save a search for each customer or for their own stock and then checks it on the schedule of the plan.
| Feature | What it does today | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Search | Make, model, fuel type, vehicle type, transmission, drive, year, price, mileage, power, damaged or not, seller (dealer or private), colour and up to 135 equipment features | Make and model are required, you set the ranges as needed |
| Search strength | A meter shows how precise the search is | It needs at least two filters |
| Portals | You choose among 50+ portals in 14 countries | Is a portal missing? You can suggest it |
| Notifications | WhatsApp, e-mail or none | WhatsApp is included in every plan |
| Checking | We check for new listings once or twice a day, depending on the plan | More often by arrangement |
| Results | A list with title, year, mileage, power and price; sorting by date, price, year, mileage and power; filtering by range and by portal | "All" and "Unread" views |
| Clients | You save each customer's name, e-mail, company and phone number and link searches to them | Active and inactive clients are listed separately |
| Own stock | A search does not have to be linked to a customer | New listings reach you just as they do for customers |
| New portal | You can suggest a portal in the app | Usually 4 to 7 working days |
Your first search, step by step
You set up a first search in six steps, and on 17 October 2026 the account worked straight away, with no e-mail confirmation.
- Choose the account type: a search for yourself or professional sourcing, which means a dealer.
- Enter the name of your dealership (dealer accounts only).
- Set up the first search: make, model and other filters as needed. The search-strength meter needs at least two filters.
- Pick portals from the 50+ the app offers.
- Choose how you want to be notified: WhatsApp, e-mail or neither.
- Read the summary. The search is live, and the result counter starts to fill when it first runs.
You can sign in with a Google account or with e-mail.
What is missing or limited
The app is in English only for now, while support replies in the languages of this site.
- Language. The interface is in English. Support replies in Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, English, German, Dutch and French.
- Frequency. We check for new listings once or twice a day on the plan's schedule. An alert therefore does not arrive the moment a seller posts a listing.
- Market insights. The "Professional market insights" option was marked "Soon" in the app on 17 October 2026. We have no release date, so we give none.
- Vehicle checks. WeltScout finds listings and tells you about them. It does not replace an inspection of the car or a check of its history.
Plans and price
The Business plan costs from €129.90 per user per month excluding VAT, and the trial needs no card.
The price is per user, so a dealer with three salespeople needs three licences or a plan tailored to them. The higher plan checks for new listings twice a day and costs from €199.90 per user per month excluding VAT. For teams with several salespeople and special needs, we tailor a plan by arrangement. The current price list is on the home page.
What this means for a dealer
When a customer asks what you have, you open their search and show the results. You set the search up once, and we send new listings to WhatsApp, where you already spend your day. Whether a listing is worth a call is your decision. You can find more about searching for cars on the blog.
Frequently asked questions
Does WeltScout alert me the moment a listing is posted?
No. We check for new listings once or twice a day, depending on the plan, and then notify you on WhatsApp or by e-mail.
How many portals can I follow?
The app offers 50+ portals in 14 countries. You choose which portals go into each search.
What if the portal I need is not on the list?
You can suggest it in the app. We usually add a portal within 4 to 7 working days.
Which language is the app in?
English only for now. Support replies in the languages of this site.
Can I try it without a card?
Yes, the trial needs no card. After the trial your account stays and your saved searches are kept when you choose a plan.
