One search, 11 portals: what an Audi A4 Avant returns

What we searched for and how we measured

We ran the search on 27 October 2026 in the WeltScout app with a test account, using ten filters for the Audi A4 Avant: diesel, automatic gearbox, from 2019, price up to €25,000, up to 100,000 km, power from 112 kW and dealers only. The app excludes damaged vehicles by default. We selected 11 portals and read the match count when the search had finished.

The data comes from the WeltScout app. This article does not compare it with a search on the portals themselves.

How many matches each portal returned

Of the 854 matches, 745 (87.2%) came from mobile.de, 54 from willhaben.at in Austria and 20 from blocket in Sweden. AutoScout24 returned 35 matches in four countries: 11 in France, 11 in Spain, 10 in Italy and 3 in Belgium. Avto.net, Njuškalo, AutoScout24 Netherlands and AutoScout24 Luxembourg returned no match with these filters.

Without mobile.de the search would have returned 109 matches, all from the other six portals. A zero only means that the app returned no match with these filters. We did not check why, so we do not conclude that such cars are absent from that portal. Shares are rounded to one decimal place.

Four matches, and why we do not compare prices by country

Four listings from this search cost between €20,690 and €24,840, and the differences fit the year, mileage and power, not the country: the most expensive is the newest (2023, 70,500 km) and the cheapest is from 2020 with 91,451 km. Four listings cannot show in which country the car is dearer or cheaper. That would take many listings with the same features.

These are four listings from the list of 854 matches, shown as examples. They are not a random sample and do not represent an average. The listings from Spain and Austria are from the same year and have similar mileage, and the €1,300 difference fits the difference in power (120 and 150 kW). Two listings cannot separate the effect of power, equipment and country.

Limits of the measurement

This is one search, run on one day with a test account. On another day or with different filters the numbers will differ, because listings are added and removed. Below are four limits to keep in mind when you read the tables.

• Filters. Ten filters narrow the selection, for example a price up to €25,000 and dealers only. A portal's share in this search does not say which portal has more cars overall.
• Zeros. Zero matches means the app returned none with these filters, not that the portal has no such cars.
• Prices. The prices come from the listings. WeltScout does not inspect vehicles or check their history, so a price says nothing about a car's condition.
• Four examples. Four listings are not a sample and do not allow a price comparison by country.

What this means for a dealer

For a single model the matches differ greatly by portal: in this search one portal returned 87% of the matches and the other six together 109. If you search for a customer, it makes sense to look through all the chosen portals at once.
